The Journey That Begins with Faith Ends with Charity đź’–
I used to think faith was the finish line.
That once you believed, once you trusted God, you had arrived.
But life taught me otherwise.
Faith is not the destination, it’s the starting point.
It’s what gets you out of bed when you’re broke, broken, or battling battles no one sees.
It’s what makes you say “Amen” with tears in your eyes and no answers in sight.
Faith is the fire that burns in the dark.
But here’s the truth most people don’t tell you:
➡️ If your faith doesn’t grow into love, it’s incomplete.
➡️ If your faith doesn’t move you to kindness, compassion, giving, and grace, you’ve just been standing at the start line all along.
Real faith doesn’t just change what you believe.
It changes how you treat people.
It teaches you to see the hurting, to forgive the offensive, to lift others even when you’re still healing.
I’ve seen people with strong beliefs but cold hearts.
And I’ve seen people whose quiet faith overflowed in selfless love the ones who feed the hungry, pray for strangers, and give even when it costs them.
That’s the journey.
You start with faith, shaky, mustard-seed-sized, but sincere.
You walk with hope believing in what you can’t yet see.
But you end with charity (love) because in the end, what matters most is not how loudly you believed, but how deeply you loved.
Let this be your reminder:
🛑 Don’t just stop at believing.
❤️ Let your faith drive your love.
🌎 Because the world doesn’t just need your convictions. It needs your compassion.
The journey that begins with faith… was always meant to end in love.
